Anthony Warren aka “Big W” aka “Chico” Grew up in downtown Kingston, Jamaica, with early education at Wesley School. Chico has been collecting vinyl for over 50 years. He first started collecting 78’s, collecting records before he had something to play them on! He remembers his first 78 – ” Dry weather house’, his first LP – James Last’s “Games that lovers play”, and buying records at Times Store, downtown on King Street. He migrated to the USA in 1970, linking up with Paul Hutton in the 80s. Paul introduced him to soul music, which Chico thinks causes the most headaches with collectors.
Warren is a resident player on Collectors Korner 5 PM – 9 PM along side Paul , Caryl W and Ranchie.
